Remy Jungerman lives and works in Amsterdam. He attended the Academy for Higher Arts and Cultural Studies, Paramaribo, Suriname, before moving to Amsterdam where he studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. He has exhibited works at 58^th Venice Biennial, Dutch Pavilion, Fridman Gallery (New York), Galerie Ron Mandos, (Amsterdam), Prospect3 (New Orleans), Brooklyn Museum (New York), El Museo del Barrio (New York), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), Kunstmuseum The Hague, Centraal Museum (Utrecht), Afrika Museum (Berg en Dal), Museum De Domeinen (Sittard), Museum Arnhem, Rennie Museum (Vancouver), Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin), Malba (Buenos Aires), Musée d'art contemporain de Lyon, Havana Biennale (Cuba) and Museum Bamako (Mali), among others. His work has been featured in numerous publications and acquired by various institutions and private collectors worldwide.
