An early UK reprint - undated, but, given the ecclesiastical gothic endpapers in the book, from the mid 1920's.
WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and unclipped. It shows light wear to the edges and slight rubbing to the spine ends. The spine is unfaded. Well preserved. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK : The book is tight. The boards are unfaded and the corners are sharp. The spine - as ever - is dulled. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean, though ( as usual with Readers Library titles) the text block and closed page edges are browned. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are fragile but solid. A nice copy of a fragile book.
