An uncorrected UK proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy ). This is a bright, clean copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are bright and unfaded with just the tiniest of tiny creases at the corners - insignificant. There is an insignificant hint of bruising to the spine ends. There are no creases to the spine, which is solid and intact. The pages and closed page edges are clean. There is a production fault to one single page corner - the corner is a tad oversized. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. Given the fragility of proof copies, this is in very nice condition. This copy coes with a rather odd ex-libris bookplate ( see photo ) which has been SIGNED by Angela Carter. A very nice copy.
