A South African first edition. A Paperback Original. Includes an erratum slip as well as 6 original ( and striking ) woodcuts by Cecil Skotnes. This is a decent copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are bright and unfaded, showing the occasional small mark. There is light rubbing to all the edges. The pages are clean and bright. The closed page edges are unmarked. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. A nice copy.
