Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Payne ) is bright and complete. It is unclipped - showing the price $2.50 on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing rubbing to the top and bottom edges and to the corners. The spine is bright and unfaded. It is inconsequentially rubbed at the ends. The back panel is fresh, showing insignificant wear to the top and bottom edges. Looks sharp.
Book: The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean, No foxing. The closed page edges are slightly creamy. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. An attractive copy in a protected wrapper. .
