WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped - showing the price 5/- on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing gentle wear to the top and the bottom edges. There is a closed tear running down from the top edge of the front panel. The spine is unfaded and shows rubbing and light chipping at the ends. The white back panel is sound, showing insignificant wear at the top and bottom edges. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine is faintly mottled and the spine ends are inconsequentially bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are sound, if very slightly dusty and flecked. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. No loose pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions.
