Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded, and complete. It is unclipped. it is lightly worn at the edges and spine ends and there is an invisible closed tear running down from the top edge of the front panel. Well preserved for a jacket that is over 100 years old. Looks very sharp.
Book : The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are bright and clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are inconsequentially bruised. The text block and closed page edges are clean if just a little dulled. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A well preserved copy.
