Uncommon supernatural collection. 14th thousandth stated on the title page. Undated and no edition given. From the early 1940's.
Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded, clean and complete. It is unclipped. It shows rubbing at the edges ( there are two closed tears running up from the bottom edge of the upper panel ) and chipping to the head of the spine. The white back panel is lightly soiled. Looks sharp.
Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are very clean and very bright. The corners are sharp. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are sound - they are spotted. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
