Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It has been clipped. The front panel is bright and fresh, showing light wear to the top and bottom edges. The spine is bright and unfaded. It shows a touch of rubbing and scuffing to the ends. The back panel is sound. Like the front panel, the top and bottom edges show light wear. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
Book: The book is square and very tight. The boards are very clean and are unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are inconsequentially bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are unmarked - the top stain has lost a little of its lustre. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper. .
