An uncorrected US proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy ) - with the signature of Fritz Leiber on the front cover. This is a bright, solid copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are sound and unfaded, showing light rubbing and soiling along the edges. There are tiny creases at the corners of both covers. The spine is unfaded. The pages and closed page edges are clean. The closed page edges are lightly toned. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. Given the fragility of proof copies this is in very nice condition.
