Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped - showing the price 7/6 on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and clean, showing gentle rubbing and scuffing to each of the corners. The spine is clean and unfaded. The head of the spine is gently scuffed and there is a small tear at the spine join which has been discreetly repaired internally. The back panel is bright, showing minimal wear at each of the corners. Looks sharp.
Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean, though slightly blotchy in places. The spine has faded. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are a tad dusty and show light flecking. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
