An uncorrected UK proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy ). This is a bright, clean copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are fresh and unfaded. There are no creases to the spine, which is solid, unfaded and intact. The pages and closed page edges are clean - there is a touch of trivial soiling to the bottom edge. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. This copy has been FLAT SIGNED by John Banville to the title page. Given the fragility of proof copies, this is in very nice condition.
