An uncorrected UK proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy ) of the 1962 reissue. This is a bright, clean copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are fresh and unfaded. The spine is solid, unfaded and intact. There is a tiny trace of bruising at the head of the spine. The pages and closed page edges are clean. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. Given the fragility of proof copies, this is in very nice condition.
