The Avenging Picaroon
Second in the Picaroon series. A UK first edition, first impression.
Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped - showing the price 7/- on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing gentle rubbing at the lower edge and a light crease running the length of the main body. The spine is unfaded and shows light rubbing at the heel. The back panel is bright. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
Book : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean and unmarked. The spine ends are gently bruised as are the bottom corners. The pages are clean. No foxing. There is ghosting to the endpapers. The closed page edges are sound, if gently dulled and flecked. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions.
