There is a touch of gentle of bruising to the spine ends. The spine lettering is bold. The pages are clean and without foxing. The uncut closed page edges are bright. The binding is tight - no loose pages. There is a bookplate on the front pastedown and a small, contemporary ( 1912 ) ownership inscription at the head of the title page. A better than usual copy.
