Untraced in modern times until in 1906 it was bought in auction by the British Museum. Supposed date of composition is 1520 - here reproduced in 1907. 'Privately Printed for Subscribers Only' printed on the title page. Quarter bound - white cloth spine over olive cloth boards. Paper label to spine. A Near Fine copy - clean, bright unfaded and tight. No inscriptions or annotations in the text. Fresh text block, tight binding. Touch of soiling to the paper spine label and to the spine itself. A very nice copy.
