Description
An early UK reprint of a title that was first published in 1927 ( Hubin ). '6 thousandth' stated on copyright page and front panel of the wrapper - so though this book is undated it is probably from the late 1920's.
Wrapper : The period wrapper on this copy is clean and complete. It is unclipped. It is gently worn at the edges and lightly rubbed at the spine ends. The front and spine panels are unfaded. There is a small section of the spine that is grazed - see scan. Presents well.
Book : The book is square and tight. There is an ownership inscription ( in pencil ) on the front pastedown. The boards are very clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean, though dulled with age. The closed page edges are toned and dusty. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
