One of 250 copies, this copy INSCRIBED by the editor, R.W. Chapman. Quarter bound - ivory coloured cloth over blue/ grey boards. Hand made paper. Facsimile of manuscript attached to stub opposite title page. No paper wrapper as issued, though still retains its original glassine wrapper - which is toned and slightly ragged at the edges with a tear to the back panel. The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are very clean, the corners are sharp. The spine is bright - no toning. The spine label is present. The uncut pages are clean. The closed page edges are unmarked - the top edge is very slightly dusty. No spotting. No foxing. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. This copy has a dedication from the editor written at the top of the ffep : The Rev ( ? ) G C May with the Editor's compliments. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
